Driving with Adaptive Equipment
What does the driving test cover in Connecticut?
Connecticut does not have a set road test route. Each inspector has the autonomy to test each driver in the way they see fit.
We recommend that a new driver is prepared for all aspects of driving: all parking maneuvers, speed management, complete stops, lane changes, lane choices, inclement weather, following distance, and highway driving. You may not be tested on all of these, but you absolutely can be tested on any of them.
